favorite show of NYFW: J. Mendel

apart from having both olsens in the front row, everything was sleek, powerful and black - just the way i like it. where i feel that prints and over-sized items have taken over NYFW, J.Mendel’s F/W ‘12 collection has all the necessities for fall: tights, amazing coats and great skirt sets. and call me crazy, i have NEVER liked fur (well, other than when The Row did those amazing head pieces and the such for their F/W /11 collection, check it out in all its glory HERE) i love my animals and have always thought wearing furs was just very tacky and old school. but the furs this season are amazing. i loved them at J. Mendel as well as Michael Kors.  theyre more than just ‘furs’ they actually contribute something to the look. check out my favorites from J. Mendel’s F/W ‘12 collection above.
