just released today, the Gucci ‘Forever Now’ campaign features none other than granddaughter of Grace Kelly and Monaco royalty, Charlotte Casiraghi.
shot by Peter Lindbergh, the photoshoot’s theme takes into account Gucci’s equestrian-inspired legacy and Casiraghi’s love of horses - the royal is a trained show jumper. the ‘Forever Now’ campaigns will celebrate Gucci’s icons, this first campaign celebrating Gucci’s famed green and red stripe. these stripes originally came from a saddle strap that Gucci’s founder, Guccio Gucci, came across and used for his first luggage creations, now instantly recognizable and synonymous with the brand.
over the next two years Casiraghi will sit with 3 other famed photographers for Gucci. having had a long relationship already (Gucci’s creative director, Frida Giannini, has been exclusively designing Casiraghi’s riding gear for years) solidifying their relationship and featuring Casiraghi as a face of Gucci was the next logical step.
after an amazing Paris Vogue issue last september, im excited to see what the other Gucci shoots bring!
